Athletes who drank it post-workout had lower levels of muscle damage after four days of intense exercising than those who guzzled water or other recovery drinks, according to findings presented at the American College of Sports Medicine meeting in Seattle. That translates to less soreness and fatigue, so you can get back to the gym and those tummy-toning planks sooner. Simply stir 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder or syrup that has less than 20 g sugar into your milk and sip.

Green tea may keep your weight steady. Mice that exercised and drank green tea were 22 percent less likely to gain weight than those who only exercised or only had tea, according to a study in the International Journal of Obesity. Polyphenols in the drink may rev your metabolism and make it easier for your body to fry fat. Plus, the tea’s plentiful stash of antioxidants slashes your risk for cancer and heart disease. Try it iced in summer!

Tomato juice may lower your cancer risk! The scarlet sip is loaded with vitamins and lycopene, which protect you against cancer. Try it with spices, a celery stalk and no vodka for a cocktail any time of day!

Black tea may help fend off skin cancer. The classic brew is loaded with flavonoids, antioxidants that carry anticancer perks. Research suggests that downing a cup or more of tea a day may lower risk for squamous cell carcinoma, a type of skin cancer, by 30 percent. Hot or iced, black tea is a delicious addition to your skin care regimen—and a lovely way to wake up thanks to its caffeine content—so put on the kettle each morning!

Especially if you live in California, DONT EAT THE EGGS! The FDA has recalled half a billion eggs sent to California so far and the number of illnesses is increasing everyday. The most common symptoms are diarrhea, abdominal cramps and fever eight to 72 hours of eating a contaminated product. The salmonella outbreak wasnt too serious until more and more people kept getting sick and the recall reached half a billion.

I just ate an omelette this morning. Wish me luck.

Vegas was amazing! Whats even more amazing is I got a call back and im DJing again September 25th @ Tao in The Venetian & the California Love Pool Party @ The Palms pool. DJ EFX is gonna be on a billboard in Vegas with some other djs! Pretty awesome huh?

My friend uploaded a video from Wet Republic @ The MGM. This party was wild! I was so tired after but good thing I had some Tomic® to carry me through the rest of my day

Scientists have found a way to cut agricultural green house emissions by 40% How?

By adding curry spices to the food fed to cows and sheeps! It has an antibiotic effect in the stomachs of sheeps and cows and kills methane producing bacteria. By adding curry spices to their food, farmers can reduce up to 40% of their emissions! Thats pretty cool huh? Specially since methane is one of the most damaging greenhouse gases to our atmosphere. There is way more carbon manoxide out there but methane is 20 times more potent!

I must confess that most times I don’t wear the seat belt when I’m sitting in the back seat of a vehicle. After this amazing video, I’ll make use of it here on out.

This slow motion video by Sussex Safer Roads Partnership has taken a different approach than the usual fear tactic which embodies some violent visuals. Artfully crafted, I give this video 6 stars out of 5.. The extra star for not trying to scare us into believing.
