The new Twilight saga “New Moon” rakes in $140 million dollars in the US alone! $259 million worldwide! That makes it the 3rd biggest movie opening of all time. The only 2 movies to top New Moon was last summers blockbuster hit, “The Dark Knight,” and 2007′s Spiderman 3.

Among the top-10 all-time openings, “New Moon” is the only one that came outside of Hollywood’s busiest time,  summer season. The next chapter to Twilight, “Eclipse,” is already done filming! Its expected to arrive in the heart of next summer, June 30.
