It’s important to be well informed in your competitor on what they are about and what they are currently doing. It can never hurt to know…it’ll hurt you to not know.

Surprisingly there were a lot of attendees at the beverage conference with the current state of the market; which the Tomic team is proud to say that we were a part of.

It was good soaking in information about nearly every aspect of the beverage industry. We made some good contacts and interacting with our peers within the industry. But most importantly, to see if what we’ve done thus far and how we will implement our product is on point. Although I’m confident in our business plan and our product, this is just half the battle; it’s OK to be a bit nervous before battle.

Aside from attending the conference, we had a blast in the short amount of time that we were there. Trying to explain an event will never touch the actual experience. All I can remember was a lot of walking, uber food, subway (not the sub-sandwich chain), and late nights. We practically woke up at dawn the whole trip from staying up too late. I’ll make sure next time we’ll spend more time out during the day.

At any rate, when you’re in NYC, be sure to stop by the corner of 53rd and 6th avenue and try the Halal. THE best food we tried the whole trip there. You’ll see the line.
